Hello everyone.
I went to set up my app in iTunes connect but found out that the name was already taken. 
OOPS! I guess I should have checked since there are tens of thousands of apps on the store. 
Something as simple as Squares is bound to be taken.
No problem. Here is how I got around it.
Instead of naming it "Squares", I named it "Squares™".
I don't have a registered trademark on the name and don't have to in order to use the symbol.
I hope this is helpful to anyone else who has been unable to use their original name.
