I'm going to be introducing adverts into some of my apps, there are several different advertising agencies and everyone seems to say each and everyone of them are better than the rest.
Anyone care to sway me in any direction from their experience?

I use iAds (Apple) and AdMob (Google). Having AdMob as a fallback is important because iAds is not available worldwide. I've been pretty happy with it so far, but I haven't tried out other services, like Mobclix or InMobi.
If you use AdWhirl you can use more than one service easily. However, the majority of ad hits come from AdMob in my app (iAd is second).
Another vote here for iAds with Admob as a backup!
Since 2012 iAds is available in a lot of countries then before. It gives me much more revenue than AdMob. AdMob is a backup here too.
As I can see until now, with this combination always a banner is shown.
For me (and my small game), AdWhirl (plus other SDKs) has too much overhead. But maybe this doesn't matter if you have a large game anyway.
So heres a question how are you guys running both admob and iads? is it a case of asking for an ad if it retrieves nothing ask the other one?
