Hello all.
I currently have an iPhone app that's up and ready to go and using Sparrow. It is currently iPhone only, meaning that on an iPad it has the little 1x/2x button to switch between the different modes.
I would like to instead have the app load in new, larger-resolution graphics when run on an iPad, but I can't find any information about how to use @2x/@hd or anything like that. I am also worried about keeping the app small (I'm already at 10MB, since I also threw in OpenFeint).
Are there some standards/rules/best practices to follow when I set up the app for the iPad? Could I have the app automatically detect when it's running on an iPad, or should I make a whole separate app? Would it be weird to support iPad and not Retina (which would be yet another set of graphics). What is the difference in size between iPhone/iPad/Retina? I also have no idea how the whole scale factor thing works at the moment?
Thanks in Advance,
