I am new to iOS development. I want to build a simple game with sparrow framework. I want to know that whether sparrow framework is compatible with iOS 3.0. I wanted it so that the game also works on iPhone 1. I also want my game to work in iPAD.
Is sparrow framework compatible with iOS 3.0?

The iPad should be no problem, the iPhone 1 however had a final release of iOS 3.1.3 but i am not sure if it is compatible. Especially performance wise i am not sure if it is even desireable.
I don't think there are still a lot of people who have the iPhone 1. In general i think that games nowadays have a requirement of at least the iPhone 3GS but maybe somebody can shed some light on Sparrows compatibility

I'm going to second what ronald said, except i'd say the iphone 3 is the lowest in the chain of combatability, along with the ipod 2g, but they struggle to play games with a lot of content. I really wouldn't worry about the first two iphones, if the person in question hasn't upgraded, its unlikely they are browsing new apps, in particular games.

Sparrow is definitely compatible with iOS 3.0.
All Sparrow apps I have built have been successfully tested on a device running iOS 3.0.
They have been built as Universal apps, running on all iOS devices from iPods running iOS 3.0, to iPads, and retina iPhones.Posted 7 years ago # -
Your suggestions were helpful
But what if i make a universal app which works on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad...will there be a compatibility issue with iPad?
