True, it is easy to fix by hacking Sparrow, but the issue is in not knowing what the supported iOS version is.
For example someone may have a minimum requirement of iOS 8.0 for their app, but Sparrow silently only supports version 9.0.
Unless they test on a device with 8.0, then they could release a product that would crash on end user devices.
I agree that it is absolutely our responsibility to check those devices, but it would be helpful to know in advance - especially if that would involve just a minor update to the Sparrow project file that specified the correct minimum iOS version.
Sorry I don't mean for this to sound in any way negative, Sparrow is a fantastic framework that we rely on heavily, and which personally am a huge fan of. I am just trying to help people who may come across this issue.
