Nooooo, all these lovely SP elements and I can't use them in interesting and magical ways... boo hoo
Lol, no worries, I thought that would be the answer.
Should be fine in this case, I'll just use a UIButton or UILabel or whatever.
However, I have one game that I might convert to Sparrow in the future, and it uses UIScrollViews for the instructions etc... hmmm, actually, shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as I can manage to pass my textures etc to UIKit, which I believe you can do, I think I saw an extension for that... perhaps it'll work natively, I'll have a play.
Anyways, maybe you (or anyone) can help me with what I want to achieve in this instance.
I'm trying to make a very simple rounded rect to display under a text field. Sounds simple enough, but SPQuad doesn't appear to support rounded corners and fancy things like that. Is there an easy way to get it to work? Hmmm, do OpenGL elements support layers?
Failing that, what's the best/simplest way to get Sparrow to draw a rounded corner box?
Basically, I don't want to fill up my texture atlas with loads of simple UI things like background boxes, when it can be done programatically...
Thanks for any tips!
