Problem with armv7s slice

Hi,

I am getting this linker error when I try to get the release version:

ld: file is universal (2 slices) but does not contain a(n) armv7s slice: ../../Documents/Proyectos/Sparrow-Framework/sparrow/build/Sparrow.framework/Sparrow file '../../Documents/Proyectos/Sparrow-Framework/sparrow/build/Sparrow.framework/Sparrow' for architecture armv7s
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Any idea ?

Hm, I didn't see that error message before.
Could you try if one of those solutions from StackOverflow changes anything? Perhaps we need to change some of the target properties. 😐

I've already used that solution and I had to compile just for armv7 leaving the other architecture out. I would like to be able to compile for all the architectures.

Any idea?

Since, for some reason, the problem does not pop up on my system, I'd need to play around with this. Could you maybe post the link to a zipped project that showcases the problem?

Furthermore: which Sparrow version are we talking about? 2.0 or the latest dev-version? If it's the latter: are you using Sparrow via source-tree variable or ".framework" integration? And: are we talking about "Release" mode or Distribution?

BTW, sorry for the delay, I was too busy last week to check the forums. 😐

I am using the latest dev-version, with ".framework" integration and in Release and in development (I have not try the Distribution).

OK, I think I got it! Please pull the latest Sparrow project and build the framework again.

The problem was that the "Sparrow.framework" target didn't have 64bit in its "Architectures" project settings; and it was set to "Build Active Architecture only". I changed both of that.

I tested it with a completely new project. With the old ".framework" file, I got your error when I executed "Product / Archive". After the change, that works.

I hope that was the same problem you're seeing — please try it out and let me know! Thanks a lot in advance! =)
