Stable sparrow version?

Hi,

The latest "how to set up a sparrow" wiki article says that Sparrow 2.1 is required. However, I have not seen a tag of 2.1 in sparrow's git nor is the podspec updated to one. I was wondering what is the recommended way to use Sparrow right now.
The last stable version is almost half a year old, and much progress has been made since then...

(Context : I wanted to integrate AppSee by using this guide : http://www.appsee.com/docs/sparrow , but the GL calls that they mention don't exist in the cocoapods version of sparrow. They do exist in 1.x and HEAD, but I'm a bit weary to use it)

You're right, a lot has been going on since 2.0! That wiki article talks about version 2.1 because I plan to release that very soon; the current head revision in the master branch (plus maybe a few bugfixes, if things pop up) will probably become version 2.1!

Sorry for not mentioning this in the wiki article! I'll add that info in order not to confuse anyone else.

Definitely not use version 1.x any longer. All future development will happen in the 2.x versions.

Can I ask what you are using AppSee for? Is it for usability testing (with beta testers), or for something else?

If you are using it to record videos of beta testers, you might consider using the Kamcord SDK (kamcord.com) See: http://forum.sparrow-framework.org/topic/kamcord-record-videos-of-your-game

After the Sparrow stage interactions are recorded, the user will need to share the video with you. This is an explicit action, so it will require willing beta testers.

Disclaimer: the folks at Kamcord are my friends, so I'm a bit biased. But it's a cool product and similar to what you are looking for. It integrates with both Sparrow 2.x and 1.x.
