Deprecated call causes build to fail after installing CocoaPods 0.36

The error I'm getting:
error: too many arguments to function call, expected 0, have 3
objc_msgSend(weakTarget, selector, event);
~~~~~~~^{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}

The problematic line:

I know you posted the link to the solution on the end-user side, but just incase you are having trouble yourself:
All you need to do is, disable 'Enable strict checking of objc_msgSend calls' in the target settings.

Other then that, it would be nice to have a direct Sparrow fix, but I don't see it being too necessary, in my opinion. It's not a deprecated call, it just requires strict casting of the function, if the strict checking is enabled.

When building Sparrow through CocoaPods it becomes a little less intuitive and will require fiddling with the Podfile and stuff.
Not that it's not possible, it's just that IMHO Sparrow should honor the new defaults and shouldn't force users to change their strictness settings...

Hmm, I don't recall having that issue when I installed CocoaPods on my Sparrow projects, but i'll take your word for it. If you want a fix for the Sparrow source code, I can have a look and get back to you with the changes you will have to make. Or I can make a fork on github.

I ran into the same problem, having just upgraded to CocoaPods 0.37 (a necessity for those of us using Swift frameworks).

A hot-fix to this problem would be a huge help.
