Hex map suggestion

Hi all,
I would like for some suggestion about implementing an hex map using Sparrow. I'm quite new to Sparrow, so any advice is really welcome.

Hi Andrea,

You would probably just create your map using 'SPImage's with a hexagonal texture. For information on implementing the math and logic of a hexagonal map I'd take a look here: http://www.redblobgames.com/grids/hexagons/. Amit's website is a great resource for tile based games.

Hi Rob,
thank for your answer, it's nice to note that I followed exactly what you suggest 🙂.
Btw, I tried to do some research but I was not able to find any framework oriented to board/strategic game development (at least for IOS), it would be nice to have something for that.
